What each feature stores

01 Arriving on the site

Before you tap anything, the site has to work out how to display itself on your device and give you somewhere to keep your follows and messages. That means a few basics are created or read the moment the page loads:

• A guest account with an automatically generated display name.
• Your browser type, operating system and language, used to show the site correctly.
• A rough region from your IP address, used for performance and to tackle abuse.
• Small storage entries in your browser that keep you signed in as the same guest on that device.

02 Random matching

The match screen is the heart of the site, and it needs a small amount of information to pair people up, keep calls running and spot accounts that behave badly. We keep a record of the match itself rather than its content:

• That a match took place, its mode (video, voice or text) and when it started and ended.
• Whether either side used Next, which helps us notice accounts that are skipped or reported unusually often.
• Live audio and video, carried between the two devices so the call can happen.
• Text messages typed during a text-mode match, along with any automatic translation.

03 Profiles, follows and messages

Your profile is what other people see when they open your page from a chat or the online list. You decide how much goes on it. To make follows and messages work across visits, we store:

• Your display name, profile photo and any details you choose to add.
• The accounts you follow and the accounts that follow you.
• Messages sent from a profile, and the record of calls started from one.
• The accounts you block, so they stay blocked.

04 Clips and live streams

Watching is mostly passive, so very little is stored when you simply browse. A bit more is kept when you join in:

• Which clips and streams you open, used to keep recommendations relevant.
• Comments you post in a stream.
• Gifts you send, with the coins spent.
• Requests for a one to one call made from inside a stream.

05 Clubs

Clubs are shared spaces, so anything you post there can be seen by the other members of that club. Remember that before sharing photos or videos with the group. For clubs we store:

• The clubs you create, join, request to join or are invited to.
• Messages, photos and short videos you share in a club.
• Club details you set as an owner, such as the name, description and house rules.
• Reports about clubs or about members inside them.

06 Coins and the Reward Centre

Anything involving money needs a reliable record, both for you and for the accounting rules we have to follow. For coins and free matches we store:

• Coin packs bought, the amount paid and the time of purchase. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by us in full.
• Your coin balance and how it is spent on matches and gifts.
• Free matches given to new guests and those claimed from the Reward Centre, with the online time that unlocked them.

07 Reports and support

Reports are how members help keep the site pleasant, and support emails are how we fix things that go wrong. Both need a written trail, so we keep:

• Reports you file, with the reason chosen, any description and attachments.
• Reports filed about your account and the outcome of any review.
• Every email exchanged between you and the support team.

08 How to see or change what we hold

Most of what is listed here can be changed directly. Your display name and photo are edited from your profile, follows can be removed with a tap, and blocked accounts can be unblocked if you change your mind. Camera and microphone permissions live in your browser settings and can be withdrawn at any time; voice and text modes keep working without the camera.

For the rest, such as purchase history or reports, email us and we will help. We may ask you to confirm a detail or two first, so that nobody else can request your information by pretending to be you.

09 What we deliberately do not ask for

We do not ask for your home address, your workplace, your date of birth beyond confirming you meet the age requirement, or your contacts list. You can use FastFlirtingCam without giving a real name. If someone on the site asks you for any of these, you are free to say no, and you can report them if they keep pushing.
